Bone Display Type
The bone shape that the bones in the setup armature will have when entering the armature builder.
Octahedral by default since it offers the best visibility for shape and color.
Allow Bone Scaling
Allows for proper scaling of bones in the control rig. Causes export issues due to how scaling is calculated in other software (since scale is generally inherited, it heavily limits how scaling can be used).
Useful for stylized animations with armatures not intended to be used outside of Blender.
Animation Armature Driver Controller
Allows the control rig to drive the location, rotation and scale of itself and the base armature, as opposed to the base armature being in charge of that.
It is enabled by default for more predictable results when exporting to other software.
Automatically Transfer Animation Data
Trasfers animation data from the base armature to the control rig on first generation, allowing all base animations to be available right away. Can slow down the generation process depending on the amount of animations to transfer.
Disable Armature Auto-fixes
Disables fixes applied to the setup armature and animation armature before and after generation, helping prevent generation errors with unhelpful messages, or undesireable behavior from the animation armature.
Keep this enabled at all times unless you know what you’re doing.
Keybinds
Bindings for certain operations that you can do in the armature builder, you can customize the keybinds here or disable them altogether.
